Mountain Festival - Fabbrica Curone

The Festa della Montagna is a traditional nature, food, and wine festival celebrating the identity, culture, and flavors of the Upper Curone Valley. The event takes place in the municipality of Fabbrica Curone, nestled in the Piedmontese Apennines, drawing nature lovers, hikers, and families each year. During the festival, the village comes alive with a farmers' market featuring local zero-kilometer products alongside stalls filled with traditional wood and stone crafts. Food stalls and local inns serve authentic mountain dishes, including polenta with wild boar, alpine cheeses, local cured meats, and chestnut-based desserts. The program includes guided hikes along valley trails, live demonstrations of ancient woodland crafts, traditional games for children, and musical performances featuring folk songs from the Four Provinces region.
