Cherries Festival

Nestled in the hills of the Grue Valley, the ancient village of Garbagna prepares to welcome the new edition of its historic event entirely dedicated to the queen of spring fruits. During the event, the squares and characteristic streets of the historic center, particularly Piazza Principe Doria, come alive with the colors and aromas of food and wine stands from local producers, enriched by craft markets and folkloric performances. The beating heart of the festival is the famous Bella di Garbagna, a variety of cherry protected by the Slow Food Presidium, known throughout Italy for its crunchy texture, intense red color, and extraordinary sweetness. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to taste this precious fruit freshly picked from local orchards, or transformed into delicious artisanal jams, traditional syrups, liqueurs, and typical desserts of the Piedmont region. It is the perfect opportunity to combine the discovery of an agrifood excellence with an evocative open-air walk, celebrating the beginning of the summer season in an atmosphere of celebration and rural conviviality.
